At the delivery ceremony, Park Jeong-sook, head of the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation Gyeongbuk Regional Headquarters, attended and personally handed over the sponsorship fund to the Yeongyang County Governor. This sponsorship was prepared with the purpose of providing practical assistance to vulnerable children in Yeongyang County and supporting their dreams and hopes.
In particular, the funds will be used for various projects such as ▲learning support programs to reduce educational disparities ▲emergency living expense support when urgently needed ▲emergency medical expense support ▲improvements in housing and educational environments to enhance housing rights.
Park Jeong-sook, head of the Gyeongbuk Regional Headquarters, stated, "Children are the future of our society, and it is our collective responsibility to help them grow up bright and healthy even in difficult environments," adding, "I hope this sponsorship becomes a small seed of hope for the children."
County Governor Oh Do-chang responded, "I sincerely thank the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation for their warm interest and sponsorship," and said, "We will do our best to use the sponsorship funds to bring about practical changes in the lives of children."
