Jung Woo-sung has acknowledged the existence of a child born out of wedlock, amid claims that he has been in a long-term relationship with a non-celebrity.

Entertainment media outlet 'Ten Asia' reported on the 25th that Jung Woo-sung has had a long-term girlfriend. It is said that the two are maintaining a serious relationship rather than a casual one. The outlet claimed that Jung Woo-sung has been dating his girlfriend for about a year. Meanwhile, according to a report by 'Dispatch,' model Moon Ga-bi informed him of her pregnancy in June of last year, and she gave birth in March.

Summarizing the reports, it is speculated that Jung Woo-sung began dating his new girlfriend shortly after ending his relationship with Moon Ga-bi. The media also reported that Jung Woo-sung’s girlfriend was unaware of the existence of the child born out of wedlock until now, which caused her great shock.

It has been confirmed that Jung Woo-sung is the biological father of the child recently born to Moon Ga-bi. Dispatch reported that the two first met at a gathering in 2022 and formed a connection. However, they were not officially a couple, nor did they have plans to marry.

Moon Ga-bi announced the birth on Instagram on the 22nd but did not mention marriage or the father of the child. She wrote, "This news came so suddenly that I was not prepared at all, so rather than fully enjoying the joy or congratulations of pregnancy, I spent most of the pregnancy quietly with my family’s blessings."

She continued, "Even now, facing the child who has come into the world, I am still not fully prepared as a mother, but seeing the child who fills my heart with love just by existing, regardless of my shortcomings, I have resolved to become a healthy mother full of love and happiness."

Jung Woo-sung’s agency, Artist Company, stated the previous day, "The child revealed by Moon Ga-bi on social media is indeed Jung Woo-sung’s biological child," and added, "We are discussing the best approach regarding the child’s upbringing." It is reported that Jung Woo-sung intends to take full responsibility for the child.
