BNK Gyeongnam Bank Supports Local Vulnerable Children Through Green Umbrella Foundation

Donation of 20 Million KRW to BNK Gyeongnam Bank Home Run Zone and Love Stolen Base Fund

BNK Gyeongnam Bank and NC Dinos organized a meaningful event to help vulnerable children in the region during the ‘2024 Town Hall Meeting,’ which gathered a total of about 1,500 people including players and fans.


On the 2nd, BNK Gyeongnam Bank announced that it had donated the ‘BNK Gyeongnam Bank Home Run Zone & Love Steal Savings’ to the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation Gyeongnam Branch.

On the 23rd, Choi Dae-sik, Head of the Social Contribution and Public Relations Department, attended the ‘2024 Town Hall Meeting’ held at Changwon NC Park and presented the ‘Savings Donation Certificate’ to Jo Yoo-jin, Head of the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation Gyeongnam Branch, together with NC Dinos players Park Gun-woo and Park Min-woo.


The total savings amount to 20 million KRW and were raised based on the number of home runs and stolen bases recorded by NC Dinos players such as Davidson, Park Gun-woo, Kim Hyung-jun, Kim Hwi-jip, and Kim Sung-wook during the 2024 KBO League regular season.


This fund will be used to support vulnerable children in the region through the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation Gyeongnam Branch.


Choi Dae-sik said, “The BNK Gyeongnam Bank Home Run Zone and Love Steal sponsorship campaign to help vulnerable groups in the region has reached its 12th year this year. I hope the precious savings, earned through the sweat of NC Dinos players, will be well delivered to the families of vulnerable children in the region. BNK Gyeongnam Bank and NC Dinos, representing local finance and sports, will continue to make various efforts to brighten the local community.”


Meanwhile, in April, to celebrate its 54th anniversary, BNK Gyeongnam Bank invited about 2,000 people including families of local company employees, children from welfare facilities, and BNK Gyeongnam Bank employees to Changwon NC Park for the ‘BNK Gyeongnam Bank Baseball Viewing Event’ and signed the ‘2024 Season Main Sponsor Agreement’ with NC Dinos.
