Pyeongtaek City Recruiting 120 College Students for Winter Break Administrative Internships

Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province is recruiting university student administrative interns to work at public institutions such as the city hall, branch offices, and eup/myeon/dong administrative welfare centers during the winter vacation until the 6th of next month.

The number of recruits is 120, divided into two groups of 60 each. The city will give priority to selecting 20% of the recruitment quota for basic livelihood security recipients, lower-income groups, and persons with disabilities.


Eligibility requirements are university students or students on leave aged 34 or younger who, as of the announcement date (November 27), are registered residents of Pyeongtaek City or registered as marriage immigrants (F-6) or permanent residents (F-5) in the foreigner registration ledger of Pyeongtaek City. Students who have already participated in the program, those who dropped out midway, or graduates are excluded from selection.


The working period for the first group is from January 2 to 24 next year, and for the second group from February 3 to 28. The work schedule is 7 hours a day, 5 days a week, and the salary is based on the 2025 Pyeongtaek City living wage hourly rate (11,280 KRW).


Applications will be accepted through the Pyeongtaek City Hall website starting from the 27th, and selection will be made through an electronic lottery. For more details, please contact the Pyeongtaek City Job and Economy Division.
