NVIDIA is on the rise amid news that it is considering sourcing high-bandwidth memory (HBM) from Samsung Electronics.
As of 9:52 AM on the 25th, Samsung Electronics is trading at 57,200 KRW, up 2.14% from the previous day. At this time, foreign investors and institutions are net buying Samsung Electronics shares worth 26.372 billion KRW and 8.9 billion KRW, respectively.
According to foreign media reports the previous day, Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, stated at the honorary doctorate degree ceremony at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology on the 23rd (local time) that they are considering receiving deliveries of both 8-stack and 12-stack versions of the 5th generation HBM (high-bandwidth memory), HBM3E, from Samsung Electronics.
It is interpreted that the expectation that Samsung Electronics will be able to supply HBM3E products to NVIDIA is expanding investor sentiment.
