Guri-si Conducts Land Characteristic Survey for 2025 Individual Official Land Prices

The city of Guri, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun) announced on the 25th that it has established an investigation plan to determine the individual publicly announced land prices as of January 1, 2025, and will conduct a land characteristic survey on approximately 24,000 parcels by January 17 next year.

As interest in publicly announced land prices has increased due to various development projects planned within Guri city, the city plans to thoroughly review official registers and permit data to ensure accurate land price estimation, and organize joint investigation teams to conduct field-centered land characteristic surveys.

The surveyed land characteristics will be compared with the standard land prices announced by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, and land prices will be calculated by applying price multipliers according to the approval table. After verification by professional appraisers and deliberation by the Guri City Real Estate Price Public Announcement Committee, the prices are scheduled to be determined and announced by April 30 next year.

The individually announced land prices determined and announced in this way will be used as the basis for imposing national and local taxes related to land, as well as for levying various charges such as development charges.

Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun of Guri said, “Since precise field investigations will be conducted using drones, we ask for the active cooperation of citizens, and we will ensure the objectivity of individual publicly announced land prices by accurately reflecting land characteristics and make every effort to protect citizens’ property rights.”
