Mungyeong City announced on the 22nd that Sangha Food Co., Ltd., an agricultural corporation, received the Minister of Employment and Labor Commendation at the 2024 Social Enterprise Day ceremony hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and organized by the Social Enterprise Promotion Agency.
The event included awards for contributors to social enterprise development, an international forum on social enterprises, policy forums and meetings, academic conferences, and an exhibition and evaluation of excellent products.

Sangha Food Co., Ltd. was established in 2014 in the Gaeun Industrial Complex and began by manufacturing and selling pickled wild garlic. The company has continuously grown through HACCP certification, family-friendly company certification, social enterprise certification, designation as a small but strong company by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, an ‘Excellent’ rating on the social value index, and certification as a Silalian brand company by Gyeongbuk Small and Medium Enterprises.
