Holmes Company and Public Housing Facility Collaborate to Strengthen Security Solutions
SK Shieldus announced on the 25th that its physical security service ADT Caps will collaborate with Holmes Company, which operates the co-living (shared housing) brand ‘Holmes Studio,’ to strengthen smart security solutions for shared residential facilities.
Recently, with the increase in single-person households, various shared residential facilities such as co-living and share houses are emerging instead of the apartment-centered housing types. However, since these involve sharing spaces within a building, they are exposed to various safety issues and security threats such as theft.

Accordingly, ADT Caps plans to build residential security infrastructure including artificial intelligence (AI) CCTV and access security for the safety of residents in shared residential facilities, and provide a smart heating and cooling system to create a comfortable environment.
ADT Caps’ AI CCTV analyzes data such as visitors, gender, and movement paths, and supports AI search functions that quickly detect and resolve common issues such as theft and illegal dumping. In emergencies, a 24-hour rapid response service can prevent major accidents. Additionally, access security services that block unauthorized entry by outsiders are also provided.
Jang Woong-jun, Vice President and Head of Physical Security Business Division at SK Shieldus, said, “As housing types diversify, proactive measures must be taken to enhance safety and convenience in shared residential facilities,” adding, “We will continue to advance our services so that everyone can enjoy a safe and comfortable living environment.”
