On the 22nd, Samjong KPMG announced on the 25th that it signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) on M&A advisory with SNE Research at the Samjong KPMG headquarters in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu.
Through the agreement, the two companies will establish a joint cooperation system for M&A advisory services in the secondary battery and electric vehicle industries to actively discover M&A opportunities and collaborate for successful deal closures. The signing ceremony was attended by Kim Idong, Head of Financial Advisory at Samjong KPMG, and Kim Gwangju, CEO of SNE Research, among others.
SNE Research is a research institution established by experts in the secondary battery-related industry, conducting business and technical consulting with various domestic and international secondary battery companies.
Samjong KPMG plans to provide comprehensive advisory services for M&A and financial advisory opportunities discovered by SNE Research, including preparing company introduction materials (Teaser Memorandum), advising on investor due diligence responses, negotiating terms with buyers, and supporting contract signing and deal closure.
SNE Research will perform tasks such as deal sourcing to identify and discover companies for sale, as well as identifying and connecting potential buyers for listings held by Samjong KPMG. Additionally, it will handle communication with buyers and sellers, support decision-making, and help ensure successful deal closures.
