Meeting of the Human Rights Advocacy Institutions Network Held on the 25th
Ulsan City will hold the "4th Human Rights Advocacy Agency Network Meeting" at 3 p.m. on the 25th in the training room on the 3rd floor of the Ulsan Child Protection Agency.
This meeting will be attended by about 20 workers from human rights advocacy agencies including the Ulsan Human Rights Center, Ulsan Child Protection Agency, Ulsan Southern Child Protection Agency, Ulsan Elderly Protection Agency, Ulsan Disability Rights Advocacy Agency, Ulsan Developmental Disability Support Center, and Ulsan Sunflower Center.
In particular, Jeong Sang-young, a human rights violation investigation expert and specialist at the National Human Rights Commission, was invited as a lecturer to give a special lecture titled "Human Rights Advocates, Asking Seniors for Guidance." Following this, time will be allocated for discussions and listening to opinions among attendees to explore mutual cooperation and development directions among human rights advocacy agencies.
An official from Ulsan City stated, "This meeting was organized to strengthen the capabilities of human rights advocacy agency workers and to further solidify the mutual cooperation system," adding, "We will continue to strengthen the network among human rights advocacy agencies and do our best in investigating human rights violation cases and supporting victims."
