Cross-Use of Accumulated Points Across Each Business Site

The distribution and service sector, consisting of Hanwha Galleria and Hanwha Hotels & Resorts, announced on the 25th that they will expand customer convenience and synergy between affiliates through ‘cross-point usage.’


Galleria Department Store’s ‘G Point’ was previously only usable at the department store and Galleria Mall, but its usage scope has now been expanded. G Point is a system where Galleria awards points based on a portion of the purchase amount.

The newly added places where G Point can be used include ▲Hanwha Resort ▲Hotels (The Plaza, Breed Hotel Yangyang, Mati? Osiria, Yeosu Belmare) ▲Golf courses ▲Aqua Planet ▲63 Restaurants, among others. At these locations, G Points can be used like cash in units of 100 points when the balance is 1,000 points or more. At the department store and Galleria Mall, points can be used starting from 1 point.


With cross-point usage, Hanwha Hotels & Resorts’ ‘H-LIVE Club Points’ can also be used at the department store and Galleria Mall.


To commemorate this point system revamp, four companies?Hanwha Galleria, Hanwha Hotels & Resorts, Hanwha Foodtech, and Aqua Planet?are holding a ‘Lucky Points Showering 20 Million Won’ event. During the event period, customers who use G Points or H-LIVE Club Points will be entered into a draw to win prizes worth a total of approximately 2 million won. The event runs from the 25th until the 31st of next month, and detailed information can be found on the official Galleria Department Store website.


Galleria also introduced a new system through this revamp that allows G Points to be used without separate conversion. Previously, accumulated G Points had to be converted into G Cash (mobile cash) before use, but with this new feature, points can be used directly without conversion to G Cash.


A Hanwha Galleria official said, “By adding cross-point usage and G Point payment functions, we have improved customer convenience and increased benefits. We expect this to enhance satisfaction for customers using Hanwha’s distribution and service sector and have a positive impact on attracting new customers for both companies.” Previously, Hanwha Galleria and Hanwha Hotels & Resorts also launched integrated uniforms.
