1.8 Billion 'Promise Ring' Unveiled... Lotte Department Store Hosts High Jewelry Fair

Held at AvenueL Jamsil from the 29th
Exhibition of 14 brands and over 130 works

Lotte Department Store announced on the 24th that it will hold the largest jewelry exhibition in collaboration with the Lotte Cultural Foundation and the world-renowned jewelry collector 'Kazumi Arikawa'.

Additionally, to capture year-end jewelry customer demand, they will hold a 'High Jewelry Fair' and showcase a comprehensive collection of jewelry pieces that are usually difficult to access, providing an unforgettable experience for visitors to the exhibition hall.


First, the High Jewelry Fair, held from the 29th of this month to the 15th of next month at the main stores on the 1st and 2nd floors of AvenueL Jamsil Branch, will feature a total of 14 famous overseas high jewelry brands including Cartier, Bulgari, Van Cleef & Arpels, and Chaumet. The fair will present over 130 pieces, worth approximately 40 billion KRW, ranging from each brand's signature collections to specially crafted limited edition jewelry.


The 'Promise Ring,' set with the iconic oval-shaped yellow diamond from the British high jewelry brand Graff, valued at about 1.8 billion KRW, will be exclusively unveiled domestically at this fair. In addition, the French high jewelry brand Chaumet will showcase a tiara set with a 9.89-carat diamond, and the Swiss high-end watch jewelry brand Piaget will present the 'Essence of Extravaganza' collection commemorating its 150th anniversary.


Special promotions will also be offered for customers purchasing jewelry as year-end gifts. During the High Jewelry Fair, customers who purchase jewelry worth 2 million KRW, 3 million KRW, 5 million KRW, or 10 million KRW will receive Lotte gift certificates equivalent to 10% of their purchase, and those who spend over 100 million KRW will be given a 3.75g pure gold bar.


At the Lotte Museum located on the 6th floor of AvenueL Jamsil Branch, from the 6th of next month until March 16th of next year, the Kazumi Arikawa Jewelry Collection, known as the most beautiful jewelry collection in the world, will be exhibited in collaboration with the Lotte Cultural Foundation. The exhibition titled 'The Art of Jewellery: Enchanting Gems, Fascinating Time' will display over 200 pieces of jewelry that he has collected throughout his lifetime.


Meanwhile, a pop-up store featuring the representative collections of the global luxury jewelry brand Tiffany & Co. will also be operated. From the 13th of next month to February 16th of next year, the store on Basement Level 1 of AvenueL Jamsil Branch, The Crown, will be decorated with the concept of 'Winter Wonderland'.


Cho Hyung-joo, head of the luxury division at Lotte Department Store, said, "Reflecting the recent high interest and popularity in high jewelry, we have gathered high jewelry pieces that are usually difficult to access in one place," adding, "It will be a special experience where visitors can feel the artistic value and beauty inherent in jewelry beyond simple product display and sales."
