Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwang-deok) announced on the 22nd that Seoul Expressway Corporation (CEO Yoo In-jun) donated 5 million KRW to the Namyangju Social Welfare Center Northern Hope Care Center (Director Jeon Jeong-su) on the 20th to support vulnerable groups during the winter season.

The donated funds were used to prepare 100 boxes of 10kg kimchi, which will be distributed to vulnerable groups in the northern region (Jinjeop-eup, Onam-eup, Byeollae-dong and Myeon) during the winter season.
CEO Yoo In-jun said, “I hope this sharing will help vulnerable groups have a warm winter,” and added, “We will continue to contribute to creating a society where we live together through various social contribution activities.”
Director Jeon Jeong-su expressed gratitude, saying, “We sincerely thank you for participating in sharing for vulnerable groups every year,” and stated, “We will strive to ensure that warm hearts are well conveyed to residents in need.”
Meanwhile, Seoul Expressway Corporation operates the Metropolitan Area 1st Ring Expressway (Ilsan to Toegyewon) and has been contributing to the local community through various social contribution activities such as sponsorships for vulnerable groups and winter season project support every year since 2012.
