The Gyeonggi Provincial Council's Legislative Public Relations Committee held its 3rd meeting on the 22nd and finalized the production direction and content for the 'Provincial Council Newsletter January 2025 issue.'
The Legislative Public Relations Committee first decided to feature Gwangju Namhansanseong on the cover of the January issue next year, and for the back cover, to convey New Year's greetings to the residents in celebration of the Year of the Blue Snake (Eulsa year).
Additionally, through sections such as Gyeonggi Legislative Insider and the Environmental Practice Research Institute, the newsletter will include ordinances proposed by council members along with engaging stories.

Furthermore, in the Village Community section, groups that have sought out welfare blind spots or areas in need of assistance within the community and engaged in volunteer work will be discovered and their activities publicized. In the Fragrance of Art section, artists who have overcome disabilities and are actively engaged in beautiful artistic activities will be spotlighted through recommendations from the Korea Disabled Artists Association.
Yu Young-du, Chairperson of the Legislative Public Relations Committee, stated, "The Provincial Council newsletter will be the first legislative public relations material to announce the New Year 2025," and added, "Please ensure that hopeful content is included so that residents can share a bright and lively start with our newsletter."
The Gyeonggi Provincial Council publishes and distributes the newsletter to residents who wish to subscribe, as well as to various public institutions and local counseling centers.
Meanwhile, on the 21st, the Provincial Council newsletter received the International Future Society President's Award in the Public Sector of Printed Newsletters at the '2024 Korea Communication Awards' hosted by the Korea Association of Corporate Newsletters. This marks the sixth consecutive year of winning in the public sector of printed newsletters.
