Suwon Nambu Fire Station, New Volunteer Firefighters Appointment Ceremony and Job Training on the 21st

The Suwon Nambu Fire Station in Gyeonggi Province conducted an appointment ceremony and job training for new volunteer firefighters.


On the 21st, Suwon Nambu Fire Station announced on the 22nd that it held an appointment ceremony and job training for new volunteer firefighters on the 3rd floor Daedamter, attended by about 20 people including fire officials and volunteer firefighters.

On this day, a total of nine newly appointed volunteer firefighters were assigned: six from Gwonseon Women's Unit, one from Gwonseon Men's Unit, one from Paldal Men's Unit, and one from Omokcheon Unit.


They will assist firefighting duties on-site during various disasters and emergencies, and play a role in protecting the community's safety through fire prevention campaigns in traditional markets and activities to install and distribute fire safety equipment in homes of vulnerable groups.


Go Young-ju, Chief of Suwon Nambu Fire Station, said, "We sincerely welcome you as members of the volunteer fire brigade," and urged, "Please faithfully perform the role of guardians of local safety to protect citizens' safety and property."
