Dongducheon-si, 2025 Aged Apartment Maintenance Support Project Application Open

Dongducheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Park Hyung-deok) announced on the 22nd that it will accept applications for the '2025 Aged Apartment Maintenance Support Project' from the 25th of this month to December 27th.

This project is designed to create a pleasant and safe residential environment for citizens living in apartment complexes within the city. In particular, it supports part of the costs required for the maintenance of common facilities such as playground maintenance and repair within the complex, rooftop waterproofing, and elevator replacement.

The target apartments are those that have passed the usage inspection or approval and have been in use for more than 15 years. The support amount varies by apartment complex, ranging from 10 million to 40 million KRW, depending on the total number of households.

For the applying complexes, the support targets will be finalized through an on-site investigation in January next year and a resolution by the Apartment Support Deliberation Committee.

A Dongducheon City official stated, “We will do our best to create a residential environment in apartment complexes that citizens can feel and be satisfied with through life-oriented support, thereby fostering a prosperous living condition.”
