On the 22nd, the Cyber Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency announced that they are investigating Oh Sang-jong, the representative of the Free Korea Patriots Corps, as a complainant. The police had previously summoned Representative Oh once on the 13th.

Representative Oh stated, "The core issue of this case is 'who manipulated the party sentiment.' It is essential to uncover who led the malicious public opinion manipulation." He added, "Despite this being a case involving namesakes of the party leader himself and his family, attempts to cover it up only amplify suspicions. The key to ending this exhausting controversy lies with Representative Han."

Earlier, Representative Oh filed a complaint against a poster named 'Han Dong-hoon' on the People Power Party members' bulletin board for violating the Information and Communications Network Act. On the 19th, he additionally filed complaints against posters using the names of five family members, including Representative Han's wife and daughter.

The People Power Party members' bulletin board anonymizes poster names except for surnames, but due to a recent system error, real names were exposed, leading some YouTubers to reveal posts written under the names of Representative Han and his family. This sparked suspicions that Representative Han or his family might have directly written defamatory posts against the presidential couple.
