Meeting of Paju-si Community Security Representative Council Held

Paju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Kyung-il) announced on the 22nd that it held the 2024 Community Social Security Representative Council meeting on the 20th at the city hall's main conference room.

The Community Social Security Representative Council is composed of the public chairman, the Mayor of Paju, the private chairman, the President of the Chamber of Commerce, as well as heads of institutions, corporations, organizations, and facilities that perform social security activities or provide services.

At this meeting, the 5th Community Social Security Plan's 2024 annual implementation amendment plan and the 2025 annual implementation establishment plan were reviewed and approved.

The Community Social Security Plan is a mid- to long-term plan established and promoted according to Paju City's circumstances, considering welfare needs and resources and other welfare environments. The annual implementation plan is established on a yearly basis according to the Community Social Security Plan.

In 2025, 44 detailed projects will be promoted, including a new project supporting group programs to prevent internet and smartphone overdependence among children and adolescents.

Mayor Kim Kyung-il of Paju City stated, “Thanks to the Representative Council, which has generously supported and cooperated to promote community welfare and activate the council, the Paju City Community Social Security Plan is steadily developing. I hope it will continue to serve as the focal point of Paju City's welfare system in the future.”
