Osan-si Installs Nightscape Lighting at Jukmi Village Hutton 9 Complex

Lighting Ceremony for Branch No. 6 Held

Osan City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 22nd that it held a nighttime landscape lighting ceremony on the 21st at the Jukmi Village Hutton 9 Complex Apartments in Geumam-dong.

The installation of landscape lighting is part of the 'Nighttime Landscape Lighting Installation Support Subsidy Project,' a key initiative in the urban landscape sector promoted by Osan City during the 8th term of the elected government. This installation marks the sixth project following ▲Wondong Hanyang Susian ▲Busandong City Xi 2 Complex ▲Segyo-dong Sema Station True Elder First ▲Naesammi-dong Osan University Station Hoban Summit ▲Yangsan-dong Osan Hyosung Baeknyeon Gayak.

Earlier in May, Osan City held a Joint Housing Subsidy Support Deliberation Committee meeting and selected four complexes, including Jukmi Village Hutton 9 Complex, as recipients for nighttime landscape lighting installation support.

About 40 people attended the lighting ceremony, including Osan Mayor Lee Gwon-jae, Kim Yujin, the chairperson of the residents' representative meeting of this apartment, and other residents.

Kim Yujin, chairperson of the residents' representative meeting who organized the event, said, "The installation of nighttime lighting has greatly improved not only the satisfaction of the residents but also the surrounding environment." Mayor Lee responded, "We will continue to actively promote projects that prioritize citizens to create a pleasant and safe residential environment in multi-family housing."

Meanwhile, the city plans to expand the apartment nighttime landscape lighting installation support subsidy project next year as well, following this year's efforts to improve the urban landscape.
