for Foreign Worker Support Group Officials
Paju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Kyung-il) announced on the 22nd that it held the 114th Mobile Mayor's Office on the 20th at the ‘Seonggonghoe Paju Migrant Workers Center Shalom House’ for 15 representatives of foreign worker support organizations.

The ‘Neighborhood Mobile Mayor's Office’ is a place for open communication with citizens and the realization of direct democracy, and is a key policy of Paju City in the 8th term of the elected government to communicate more frequently with citizens.
At this Mobile Mayor's Office, discussions were held on current issues such as support for foreign workers, with participation from the Seonggonghoe Paju Migrant Workers Center Shalom House, the Catholic Uijeongbu Diocese Migrant Ministry Committee Paju Exodus, Paju Betania, and Paju Family Center.
On the day, various improvement measures for the treatment of foreign workers were proposed, including ▲ establishment of a foreign worker support center ▲ housing support policies for foreign workers ▲ provision of psychological counseling services, mental health programs, and employment support programs for foreigners ▲ expansion of budget for counseling support activities for foreign workers.
Mayor Kim Kyung-il of Paju City said, "Based on the opinions proposed at this Mobile Mayor's Office, we will consider various measures to support foreign workers."
