Haitai Confectionery Raises Prices of Chocolate Products Including Home Run Ball

10 Products Including Pokki... Average Increase of 8.59%

Haitai Confectionery announced on the 22nd that it will adjust the prices of 10 products with a high proportion of chocolate ingredients, raising them by an average of 8.59%. The price-adjusted products will be supplied sequentially starting from the 1st of next month.

By product, Pocky (46g) and Home Run Ball (46g) will see their recommended retail prices increase from 1,700 won to 1,900 won, an 11.8% rise. Lolly Polly (62g) and Choco Pick (45g) will increase from 1,700 won to 1,800 won, a 5.9% rise. Additionally, Jayeo Sigan (36g) will be adjusted from 1,000 won to 1,200 won (20%), Oh Yes (360g) from 6,000 won to 6,600 won (10%), Butter Ring Deep Choco (155g) from 4,400 won to 4,500 won (2.3%), White Angel (27g) from 1,500 won to 1,600 won (6.7%), Tippy (45g) from 1,200 won to 1,300 won (8.3%), and Eolcho (52g) from 3,000 won to 3,100 won (3.3%).

Haitai Confectionery explained, "Due to the global surge in prices of raw materials such as cocoa, as well as increases in labor, logistics, and energy costs, we have determined that it is no longer feasible to bear the cost pressures. Therefore, we have inevitably decided to adjust the prices of some chocolate products."
