10 University Presidents Hold '5th Meeting' at Honam University

The Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional University Presidents' Council (Chairman Park Jong-gu, President of Chodang University) announced on the 22nd that it held the 5th meeting of 2024 on the 21st at the 3rd-floor conference room of Honam University Headquarters.


At the meeting, ten university presidents attended, including Park Sang-chul, President of Honam University; Jung Yong-hwa, Vice President for External Affairs of Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology; Lee Seon-jae, President of Gwangju Women's University; Lee Byung-woon, President of Suncheon National University; Lee Joo-hee, President of Dongshin University; Yoon Bin-ho, President of Mokpo Catholic University; Ha Jun-seok, Director of Research at Chonnam National University; Park Jong-gu, President of Chodang University; Park Jin-ho, Acting President of Korea Energy Engineering University; and Hwang Min-hyo, President of Honam Theological University.


During the meeting, attendees discussed current issues such as ▲collecting opinions related to mutual growth between universities and high schools ▲the process of promoting the RISE project to be introduced next year.


The Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional University Presidents' Council is a consultative body composed of presidents from 21 universities in the Gwangju-Jeonnam region, aiming to strengthen mutual cooperation and university development through consultation and research on overall university affairs.
