Hyundai Steel announced on the 22nd that it held an 'Archery Range Experience Event' on the 20th at the Incheon Archery Training Center, inviting about 40 elementary school students from the Incheon area.

In February, Hyundai Steel signed a business agreement with the Korea Archery Association to conduct archery classes for elementary schools, providing after-school Neulbom classes and regular classes at 26 elementary schools across 8 regions nationwide.

Hyundai Steel planned this event to offer elementary students the opportunity to experience an actual archery range and professional equipment firsthand, aiming to expand the base of academy sports and promote archery as a recreational sport.

The participating elementary students toured the archery training facilities, enjoyed demonstrations by the team, and played mini-games. In particular, the 70m demonstration shots performed by coach Oh Jin-hyuk, along with athletes Gu Bon-chan and Han Jae-yeop, amazed the students. Under the guidance of professional coaches, the students also learned basic postures and techniques and had the chance to shoot arrows themselves.

Meanwhile, Hyundai Steel is a prestigious men's archery team boasting world-class archers such as Oh Jin-hyuk and Gu Bon-chan, having set a record by producing three consecutive Olympic gold medalists (2012 London, 2016 Rio, 2021 Tokyo).
