Store Owner "No Apology at All"
A man who spat on the floor at a restaurant and then caused a scene by cursing and pointing fingers when stopped is drawing public outrage.
According to JTBC's 'Sageon Banjang' on the 22nd, a drunken man, Mr. B, and his group recently visited the restaurant of informant Mr. A, who runs a business on Yeongjongdo Island in Incheon. While dining, Mr. B spat on the floor three times, and upon seeing this, Mr. A wiped the floor and said, "There are other customers inside; how can you keep spitting on the floor?" In response, Mr. B cursed and pointed fingers, saying, "Come here."
In particular, during this incident, Mr. B also touched a female employee who was standing. However, Mr. B did not apologize and instead caused a scene, saying, "Go ahead and report me if you want." His group tried to restrain him, and eventually, Mr. B left the restaurant.
It is known that when Mr. B previously visited Mr. A's restaurant, he introduced himself as a former resident council chairman and currently the head of the local defense council. Mr. A claimed, "I have seen him socializing with district council and district office people," and added, "There are many stories that he usually treats local store owners and employees disrespectfully, perhaps because he thinks he has power." He continued, "He visited the restaurant again the day after spitting but did not apologize at all," and said, "I could no longer tolerate it, so I reported it to the broadcast."
Netizens who heard the news responded with various comments such as, "'The customer is king' means you should at least show some manners," "What a pathetic person. Why would someone act like that?" "People who lack common sense should be severely punished," "The more ripe the rice, the more it bows its head, but he seems to think his title is something special," and "He seems to be someone who doesn't know what shame is."
