Hearing of a Total of 26 Agendas Including 13 Ordinances Proposed by Council Members and 13 Agendas Submitted by the Executive Branch

The Dongducheon City Council of Gyeonggi Province (Chairman Kim Seung-ho) held the "Last Dongducheon City Council Members' Roundtable of 2024" on the 21st in the council members' meeting room. At this roundtable, explanations were given on a total of 26 agenda items, including 13 ordinances proposed by council members and 13 agenda items submitted by the executive branch, followed by discussions with the executive branch.

At the last members' roundtable of 2024, the following were discussed: the ordinance partially amending the "Dongducheon City Council Awards Ordinance" proposed by Chairman Kim Seung-ho; the ordinances partially amending the "Dongducheon City Building Management Ordinance" and the "Dongducheon City Council Members' Code of Conduct Ordinance" proposed by Vice Chairman Hwang Ju-ryong; the ordinance partially amending the "Dongducheon City Council Members' Research Group Formation and Operation Ordinance" proposed by Council Member Kim Jae-su; two ordinances proposed by Council Member Kwon Young-gi, namely the "Dongducheon City Ordinance on the Use of Eco-friendly Materials and Promotion of Recycling for Banners" and the ordinance partially amending the "Dongducheon City Council Members' Overseas Official Activities Ordinance"; two ordinances proposed by Council Member Park In-beom, including the ordinance partially amending the "Dongducheon City Smart Agriculture Promotion Ordinance" and the ordinance partially amending the "Dongducheon City Council Business Promotion Expenses Usage and Disclosure Ordinance"; three ordinances proposed by Council Member Lim Hyun-sook, including the "Dongducheon City Survival Swimming Education Support Ordinance," the partially amended "Dongducheon City Council Meeting Rules," and the ordinance partially amending the "Dongducheon City Council Members' Ethics Code and Ethics Practice Norms Ordinance"; and two ordinances proposed by Council Member Lee Eun-kyung, namely the ordinances partially amending the "Dongducheon City Council Local Public Officials Service Ordinance" and the "Dongducheon City Council Local Public Officials Travel Expenses Ordinance."

Additionally, explanations were heard from executive branch officials regarding 13 agenda items submitted by the executive branch, including the ordinance partially amending the "Dongducheon City Local Public Officials Service Ordinance," followed by in-depth discussions.

Meanwhile, among the agenda items discussed at this roundtable, those requiring resolution by the plenary session will be revisited at the 2nd regular session of the Dongducheon City Council in December 2024.
