Mayor Kang Su-hyun Attends 'Eup, Myeon, Dong Community Security Council Leadership Training'

Mayor Kang Su-hyun of Yangju City attended the ‘2024 Eup, Myeon, Dong Community Security Council Leadership Training’ hosted by the Yangju City Community Security Council (co-chair Chae Jeong-seon) on the 21st and encouraged the efforts of those who work tirelessly day and night to promote local welfare.

The event was attended by 23 people, including Mayor Kang Su-hyun, the public chairman of the Yangju City Community Security Council, co-chair Chae Jeong-seon, and the public and co-chairpersons of each Eup, Myeon, and Dong council.

Under the theme of ‘Managing the Leader’s Mind,’ the training featured a mental and emotional health management program aimed at fostering a positive organizational culture, conducted by Lee Hyun-joo, CEO of Theham Leadership Coaching Center, who was invited as a one-day instructor.

Co-chair Chae Jeong-seon stated, “The role of the community in the welfare sector is important,” and added, “I hope this training serves as an opportunity not only to improve individuals’ quality of life but also to contribute to the enhancement of community welfare.”

Mayor Kang Su-hyun of Yangju City said, “I hope the leaders of the council, who play a crucial role in identifying welfare blind spots, will continue to be a great strength to the community through healthy mind management.”
