"Disgusted, I threw it all up" Interdental brush found in delivery food... Owner says "Not reused" A netizen revealed a story about finding an interdental brush in the food they ordered for delivery. Online community 'Apeunikka Sajangida'

A story has emerged about someone finding an interdental brush that appeared to have been used by someone else in their usual delivery food order.

On the 19th, a post by user A was uploaded to the self-employed online community 'Apeunikka Sajangida' (Because It Hurts, I'm a Boss), reporting foreign objects found in delivery food. A said, "I ordered kimchi pork stir-fry from a restaurant I have used about five times before, just before coming home after work late at night." He added, "After eating about two-thirds of the meal, I found a disposable interdental brush in the food," attaching a photo. The photo showed an interdental brush mixed in the kimchi pork stir-fry sauce.

Startled, A immediately called the restaurant to explain the situation. The owner responded, "There is absolutely no way an interdental brush could have gotten in," and apologized, saying, "We will refund you. Sorry." When A expressed suspicion, asking, "Did you reuse the food?" the owner strongly denied it, saying, "Absolutely not." Later, an employee working at the restaurant contacted A, saying, "I don't know why that came out. Anyway, sorry," reportedly laughing lightly.

A said, "If it had been just a single hair, I would have just removed it and eaten the food." He added, "Since they are human, mistakes can happen. No matter how much they wear hygiene caps, it is impossible to completely prevent foreign objects from getting in, so I thought it was unavoidable." However, he expressed, "Is it even possible for a disposable interdental brush to come out of the food? I don't think so unless the food was reused." He continued, "It still disgusts me. My wife, who ate with me, already vomited violently." A also mentioned that he is currently storing the food in a zipper bag.

Netizens responded with comments such as, "The employee who laughed while talking seems to have reused the food," "It's absurd for an interdental brush to come out of the food, of all things," "This should be reported to the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety," and "The restaurant must be dirty. It's obvious without even seeing it." In particular, one netizen speculated, "A customer might have eaten the food, used an interdental brush to clean their teeth, and then discarded it in the dish, and the restaurant unknowingly collected and reused it." They added, "I've seen many customers casually throw their used toothpicks into dishes or cups." Meanwhile, another netizen suggested, "An employee might have been chewing on it and placed it on a shelf, and it accidentally got into the food. I've seen employees like that before."
