Omiseop Oh, a member of the Gwangju Seo-gu Council (Democratic Party of Korea), attended the 30th anniversary forum commemorating the establishment of the Department of Social Welfare at Honam University as a discussant on the 21st.

During the discussion, Councilor Oh stated, “In order for case management personnel to comprehensively counsel on the procedures and response situations of care services, it is essential to secure professional counselors with counseling experience and case management expertise,” and emphasized, “It is necessary to create a working environment and conditions where case management personnel can fully focus on case management.”

Councilor Oh stressed, “The core of community-integrated care is not simply about connecting services,” adding, “It is about enabling the recipients to recover their health and gain the strength to live harmoniously within the community.”
