According to this agreement, the Tanbeol-dong Byeoksan Blooming Residents' Representative Meeting will provide part of the apartment residents' communal facilities (101.48㎡) free of charge to Gwangju City as a space for the Together Care Center for five years.

The Together Care Center is a public care service established and operated to provide various forms of customized care services for all elementary school students who need after-school care, thereby alleviating the childcare burden of dual-income families and creating a safe care environment for children.

Starting with the opening of the first Together Care Center in October 2021, Gwangju City opened the 2nd to 4th Together Care Centers and one school care center in 2022, and from 2023 to this year, newly opened the 5th to 10th centers.

Currently, two centers are under installation, and by 2025, a total of 20 care centers will be opened and operated to strengthen the child care system functions aimed at eliminating blind spots in elementary school care.

Mayor Bang Se-hwan said, “I am very pleased that we can install after-school care centers in places where care infrastructure is truly needed, and I thank the Tanbeol Byeoksan Blooming Residents' Representative Meeting and residents for their active cooperation in securing the location,” adding, “We will continue to strengthen the gap care functions so that our children can receive care in a safe and high-quality care environment.”
