In 2020 and 2021, HD Hyundai Infracore and HD Hyundai Construction Equipment won awards, making all three HD Hyundai construction equipment companies honored recipients at the Smart Construction Challenge.
Based on their achievements in utilizing smart construction technologies such as Building Information Modeling (BIM), drones, equipment automation, and smart safety management platforms on-site, HD Hyundai Site Solutions, Ssangyong Construction, and GSiL presented plans to apply these technologies at railway construction sites to enhance productivity and safety, gaining recognition for their potential.
Since 2022, HD Hyundai Site Solutions has been conducting on-site demonstrations of the integrated smart construction solution 'XiteCloud' in collaboration with Ssangyong Construction.
At residential site construction, drones perform site surveying to simplify repetitive manual surveying tasks, and a digitized earthwork platform systematically manages construction records to establish a highly efficient work system. Additionally, construction equipment automation applying 3D machine guidance demonstrated improvements of 70% in work efficiency and 84% in constructability.
An official from HD Hyundai Site Solutions stated, "We are developing smart construction solutions that can enhance productivity and safety at construction sites with the goal of sustainable development for humanity," adding, "We will accumulate know-how and data to apply these solutions to more sites."
