Yangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) announced on the 21st that on the 20th, Hansarang Volunteer Society (President Park Si-hyun) visited the city hall and donated 2 million KRW to be used for helping neighbors in need in Yangju City.

The donation ceremony was attended by Mayor Kang Su-hyun, President Park Si-hyun, and three members. The donation will be delivered to vulnerable groups in the area through the Gyeonggi Social Welfare Community Chest.
President Park Si-hyun said, “The donation was made with the hope that the funds collected by our members will help neighbors in need during the winter season,” and added, “Our group will continue to carry out volunteer activities to find and assist neighbors facing difficulties.”
Mayor Kang Su-hyun expressed gratitude, saying, “I thank the president and members who remember neighbors in need and practice neighborly love every year,” and stated, “The donated funds will be properly delivered to help our marginalized neighbors get through the winter.”
Meanwhile, the Hansarang Volunteer Society was established in 1990 for the purpose of volunteering and has been continuously engaged in social contribution activities, including donating funds last November.
