Donation for Neighbors in Idong-myeon, Pocheon-si

On the 21st, Idong-myeon, Pocheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Young-hyun) announced that Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Pocheon Pumped Storage Construction Office donated 10 million won to the Gyeonggi Social Welfare Community Chest on the 20th to help neighbors in need.

The donated funds will be used to support heating costs so that vulnerable neighbors in Idong-myeon can have a warm winter.

Kim Young-min, head of the Pocheon Pumped Storage Construction Office, said, “We prepared the donation to help vulnerable neighbors struggling with rising heating costs, even if just a little. We will continue to pay close attention to the difficulties of the local community and actively work to revitalize the local economy.”

Lee Soon-gyu, head of Idong-myeon, said, “We express our gratitude to the Pocheon Pumped Storage Construction Office for supporting heating costs for vulnerable neighbors facing difficulties due to rising prices. The Idong-myeon Administrative Welfare Center will also do its best to promote welfare in the local community.”
