Gwangyang Economic Zone Authority Holds Workshop to Strengthen Industrial Complex Development Capabilities

Unifying Staff Harmony and Industrial Complex Development Will at Baegunsan

The Gwangyang Bay Area Free Economic Zone Authority (Director Gu Chung-gon, hereinafter referred to as Gwangyang Economic Authority) announced that it held the '2024 Second Half Capacity Building Workshop' on the 20th at Baegunsan Mountain in Gwangyang to expedite the development of the Gwangyang Bay Area industrial complex and strengthen employee capabilities.

The workshop was attended by about 20 executives and development department staff, including Director Gu Chung-gon of the Gwangyang Economic Authority, and was organized with the purpose of consolidating organizational capabilities and exploring the direction of industrial complex development based on communication and cooperation among employees.

The participants spent a meaningful time building teamwork by hiking to the summit of Baegunsan Mountain, one of Korea's top 100 famous mountains.

Director Gu Chung-gon of the Gwangyang Economic Authority emphasized, “This workshop was an important occasion for employees to reaffirm their will to cooperate based on harmony and trust,” adding, “All employees will continue to do their best with one heart so that the industrial complex in the Gwangyang Bay Area can leap forward as a global business hub.”
