MGN Solution announced on the 21st that it has completed the outdoor installation of its AI (artificial intelligence) fire suppression solution at the Seoul Gangseo-gu Office local government resource circulation center.
This achievement is the result of a national project linked to procurement. A company representative stated, "Starting with this delivery, we expect to expand to local governments nationwide," adding, "We are currently in the process of delivering to the Eunpyeong-gu resource circulation center as well."
According to the company, existing technology only used ultraviolet and infrared detection sensors, resulting in somewhat insufficient accuracy and limited suppression nozzles, so it was used exclusively indoors. Fires in outdoor storage facilities caused by inadequate fire prevention measures are difficult to detect and extinguish. Additionally, they require significant firefighting resources and long durations, leading to extensive damage.
In contrast, MGN Solution's product features enhanced accuracy through video analysis technology and allows free adjustment of suppression nozzles via AI control. A company representative explained, "It can be used not only indoors but also outdoors," adding, "This outdoor installation of the fire suppression solution is the first case in Korea."
Recently, MGN Solution has been consecutively registering and applying for patents related to fire suppression solutions, improving the accuracy of fire analysis and advancing suppression precision.
A company representative forecasted, "There is a growing trend of actively adopting AI fire detection and suppression systems centered on the government and local governments," and added, "Starting with this delivery, we expect our products to be increasingly applied to various fire-prone locations."
