Global healthcare company Moa Life Plus announced on the 21st that it has signed a supply contract with BioMom, an infant and children's health functional food brand specializing in influencer and SNS marketing.
BioMom, an infant health functional food brand, has been awarded first place for three consecutive years in the 'Consumer Satisfaction Brand Award' and the 'Infant Probiotic Health Food Category.' Under the company philosophy of 'A mother's sincere desire to give only healthy things,' BioMom designs high-quality, natural, customized health functional foods for children and sells a variety of infant-tailored health products.
This supply contract is part of Moa Life Plus's plan to expand the target market of its flagship product, Immunity 88 Gold, from adult customers to children. Following the renewed launch in August in collaboration with 'TinyPing,' Korea's number one kids intellectual property (IP), the company aims to further expand into the infant market.
Through this supply contract, Moa Life Plus will supply BioMom's main products, including BioMom Bebe, BioMom Snow, and BioMom Jelly Care Calmadie. In addition, the company will supply infant health functional foods applying its patented ingredient PGA-K (Poly Gamma Glutamic Acid Potassium), which has been developed over 20 years of research and development. Human application tests conducted on Koreans confirmed that PGA-K increases the activity of NK cells (natural killer cells), representing innate immunity, by 52.3%. This ingredient has received individual recognition approval from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety for immune functionality. This contract provides an opportunity to expand the PGA-K product line to all age groups, from infants to adults.
PGA-K has been selected as one of Korea's top 10 new technologies and a world-class product based on various scientific evidence. It is also registered as a New Dietary Ingredient (NDI) by the U.S. FDA and has secured dozens of related patents worldwide, including in the United States, Europe, Japan, China, and Korea, recognizing its technological excellence.
A representative of Moa Life Plus stated, "Through this contract, the synergy between Moa Life Plus's technological capabilities and BioMom's marketing expertise will be realized. By expanding the application of our patented ingredient PGA-K from adults and children to the infant market, we expect this to serve as a bridge for entering both domestic and global health functional food markets."
