BNK Busan Bank Receives Plaque of Appreciation from Busan Metropolitan City Sports Council

Afternoon of the 20th, Closing Ceremony and Awards for Meritorious Persons of the Busan Team at the 105th National Sports Festival

BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seong-bin) received a plaque of appreciation from the Busan Metropolitan City Sports Council at the ‘105th National Sports Festival Busan Team Disbandment and Meritorious Award Ceremony’ held at the Busan Metropolitan City Sports Hall on the afternoon of the 20th.

The event was organized to officially disband the Busan team that participated in the 105th National Sports Festival and to award meritorious individuals. The Busan team won a total of 187 medals (54 gold, 51 silver, 82 bronze) in this competition, ranking 6th overall and 1st among metropolitan cities.

Busan Bank was recognized for its contributions to supporting the Busan team participating in the National Sports Festival and to the development of local sports, receiving a plaque of appreciation in the name of the President of the Busan Metropolitan City Sports Council.

Kang Seok-rae, Head of the Management Strategy Division at Busan Bank, who attended the award ceremony, said, “We applaud the efforts of the athletes who achieved excellent results despite difficult circumstances,” and added, “We will continue to support the successful hosting of the National Sports Festival to be held in Busan next year.”

Busan Bank has served as the president company of the Busan Athletics Federation since 1981 and has been operating a corporate athletics team since 2009. In particular, it is participating as the presenting partner of the ‘2024 Busan World Table Tennis Championships’ to support the successful hosting of the event and is making various efforts to promote the development of local sports culture.
