SOOP "Virtual Content Grows 4x in Half a Year"

"Virtual Content, Expanding Across Virtual and Real Worlds"

SOOP announced on the 21st that the average number of broadcasts in the virtual category during the first half of this year has grown nearly fourfold compared to the second half of last year.

Virtual streamers actively communicate with SOOP users, building their own unique characters and presenting new content. The content of virtual streamers is merging with existing content and expanding offline beyond virtual spaces through joint broadcasts, talk shows, fan meetings, and more.

A representative example is the joint content in April between popular streamer 'Gamst' and 'Gosegu,' a member of the virtual idol group 'Isekai Idol.' Over 50,000 users gathered to watch the scene where a virtual streamer met a regular streamer in real life.

Existing regular streamers are also expanding the ecosystem by creating their own virtual avatars. In July, game streamer 'Kim Minkyo' participated as a guest on the virtual official broadcast 'V Jeongsang Hoedam' with a distinctive character appearance.

Some are taking on new challenges by creating avatars. Streamer 'Lee Saho,' loved on SOOP for his outstanding singing skills, recently debuted in a virtual girl group using a new avatar.

SOOP is preparing various events and services to expand the offline virtual ecosystem. At SOOP's new awards ceremony scheduled for the end of this year, various virtual streamers will showcase content. Through services such as the 'Streamer Goods One-Stop Production Service,' where streamers or users can create and sell goods directly, and 'Virtual Live Commerce,' SOOP is creating diverse touchpoints for virtual streamers and users to connect.
