News of Birth of a Daughter from Italy
Actor Song Joong-ki (39) has become a father of two children.
On the 20th, Song Joong-ki posted on his fan cafe, "I am currently in Rome, and it has only been just over a year since I met my first child here, but I am very grateful to have met another beautiful baby," adding, "A beautiful princess was born healthy."
He continued, "Both my wife and the baby are resting well and healthy," and said, "To the many people who love us, especially the Kiehl's fans who always believe in me consistently, I am certain that such precious hearts bring about these good things continuously. I sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart."
Song Joong-ki had previously announced in December 2022 that he was dating British-born actress Katie Louise Saunders. The following January, the couple registered their marriage, and in June last year, they welcomed a son. About one year and five months after their marriage, they embraced their second daughter.
It is known that Song Joong-ki and his wife have been living while traveling between Korea and Europe. In January last year, entertainment media Dispatch reported that the Song Joong-ki couple purchased a house in Itaewon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, and invited the wife's family to live together in Korea.
Katie Louise is a British-born actress, born in the UK but mainly active in the Italian entertainment industry. She began her acting career as a child actress in a 2002 film directed by Italian director Michele Placido. She also gained public recognition by filming a coffee commercial with actor George Clooney. However, she has not appeared on broadcasts since 2019.
Meanwhile, Song Joong-ki will appear in the drama "My Youth," scheduled to air next year.
