Signing of Sister City Agreement, Joint Cooperation in Hydrogen Ecosystem
The Ulsan City Overseas Delegation (led by Ulsan Mayor Kim Doo-gyeom) will visit China for a 3-night, 4-day trip from the 22nd to the 25th to strengthen global economic cooperation with Guangzhou, a representative industrial city in China.
The overseas delegation will visit Guangzhou, China, and on the 22nd, inspect HTWO Guangzhou Plant, Hyundai Motor's first overseas hydrogen fuel cell factory, and assess the current status of the hydrogen industry.
On the 25th, a friendship city agreement with Guangzhou and a joint cooperation agreement on the hydrogen ecosystem with Hyundai Motor will be signed.
This visit was arranged as a strategic measure for Ulsan and Guangzhou to lead sustainable economic growth through cooperation in the industrial and energy sectors and to build a hydrogen ecosystem in both cities by utilizing Hyundai Motor's technological capabilities.
Ulsan Mayor Kim Doo-gyeom said, “We will work hard to establish a foundation to lead the global economy through cooperation with Guangzhou and to help Ulsan leap forward as a center of the hydrogen industry through the Hyundai Motor agreement.”
