'2024 Jungnang-eul Bitnaen Jeongchaek'?... Voting Begins for 'Jungnang-gu Top 10 News'

Online voting open until November 30, open to everyone
10 projects selected based on majority votes among 20 candidates

Jungnang-gu (District Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) is conducting a vote until the 30th to select the top 10 news stories that highlighted Jungnang-gu in 2024.

The ‘Top 10 News of Jungnang-gu’ was prepared to revisit major projects that were meaningful to residents and to increase pride and interest in district administration. Among the various policies promoted by Jungnang-gu, residents directly select the policies they resonate with, choosing the top 10.

This year’s top 10 news candidates include ▲Jungnang-gu passing the preliminary feasibility study for the Myeonmok Line light rail ▲Jungnang, the education hub, allocating and supporting 12 billion KRW in education expense subsidies for 2024 ▲Achieving the highest (SA) grade for four consecutive years in the evaluation of Jungnang-gu’s pledge fulfillment ▲Successful hosting of the ‘Jungnang Seoul Rose Festival,’ a representative festival of Seoul attended by 3.03 million people ▲Selection of 27 sites for low-rise residential housing development projects, ranking first in both area and number of sites in Seoul, among a total of 20 projects nominated.

The voting is conducted online and anyone interested in Jungnang-gu can participate. Voters select 5 out of the 20 candidate policies.

The voting results will be announced in early December, revealing the top 10 news stories directly chosen by residents to close out the year.
