Dongdaemun-gu Sports Development Committee Delivers Kimchi of Love

Donation of 70 Boxes of Kimchi for Marginalized and Needy Neighbors on the 20th

Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor Lee Pil-hyung) announced on the morning of the 20th that it held the 'Warm Winter Love Kimchi Donation Ceremony' together with the Dongdaemun-gu Sports Development Committee.

On this day, the Dongdaemun-gu Sports Development Committee donated 70 boxes (700kg) of carefully prepared kimchi so that the underprivileged and needy neighbors in the area could have a warm winter.

Choi Young-do, Chairman of the Dongdaemun-gu Sports Development Committee, said, "The members gathered their sincerity little by little to provide even a small help to neighbors in need, and we prepared this donation ceremony," adding, "I hope everyone can have a warm winter."

Mayor Lee Pil-hyung expressed his gratitude, saying, "We will make sure to deliver the kimchi carefully prepared by the Sports Development Committee to neighbors in need of care so that many people can spend a warmer winter."
