Commissioner Kim said, “We will refrain from enforcement-centered administration and implement field-oriented, visiting administration that reflects regional characteristics,” adding, “We will strive to ensure that the Environmental Office and local companies grow together through deregulation and support for improving the business environment.”

Chairman Jeong emphasized, “I deeply appreciate Commissioner Kim Youngwoo for coming all the way here despite his busy schedule,” and added, “Although companies are losing vitality due to the stagnant local economy, Mokpo Chamber of Commerce will take the lead in seeking cooperation measures with the Yeongsangang River Basin Environmental Office to solve environmental issues and promote regional economic development and environmental preservation.”
