Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service Holds Talk Concert with Ulsan Public Institutions and University Students The Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service is holding a talk concert for university students in collaboration with public institutions in Ulsan.

This talk concert was organized through collaboration among four public institutions: the Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service, the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, the Human Resources Development Service of Korea, and the Korea Energy Agency, along with Good Neighbors Ulsan Branch, Ulsan University Career Plus Center, and the Climate Change Humanities and Social Convergence Talent Development Project Group. The concert was held to strengthen the employment capabilities of university students actively participating in volunteer activities and to promote a culture of volunteer participation.

The participants were university students with volunteer experience, such as involvement in local study rooms, with about 200 students attending this event.

On the day, the participating university students engaged with current mentors from the four public institutions in a talk concert format, asking about the roles of the institutions and on-site practical work. They sought detailed advice on each institution’s recruitment system characteristics, essential competencies for employment, and practical tips for preparing for written and interview exams, gaining information and techniques that are genuinely helpful for job preparation.

Additionally, through an explanation and quiz on the personality competency enhancement program conducted by Good Neighbors, the students, soon to become members of society, took time to reflect on the importance of empathizing with and participating in positive changes for the local community.

Park Jong-gil, President of the Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service, said, “We hope this event will greatly assist university students who actively participate in volunteer activities in preparing for employment,” and added, “We will continue to carry out various activities to grow and develop together with the local community.”
