HD Hyundai Oilbank Spreads Warmth with Kimchi and Rice Sharing Volunteer Event in Daesan, Seosan

HD Hyundai Oilbank announced on the 20th that it held the 13th "Kimchi Sharing of Love" volunteer event at the Daesan-eup Administrative Welfare Center in Seosan-si, Chungnam.

About 100 people attended the event, including members of the Saemaeul Leaders Association of Daesan-eup, staff from the Daesan-eup Administrative Welfare Center, and employees and families of HD Hyundai Oilbank. The participants delivered 3,000 heads of homemade kimchi and 300 bags (3 tons) of rice to local neighbors in need, such as elderly people living alone.

The napa cabbage, radish, and red pepper powder used for the event were purchased from local farms, supporting the revitalization of the local economy. An employee of HD Hyundai Oilbank who attended the event said, "It was a meaningful time to make kimchi together with the company and local community groups and share warmth by donating to the underprivileged."

Meanwhile, HD Hyundai Oilbank continues various local win-win projects, such as purchasing 1 billion KRW worth of newly harvested rice produced annually in Seosan for donation and carrying out the Samgilpo Sea Cultivation Project.
