Dongducheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Park Hyeong-deok) announced on the 20th that the opening ceremony of the Complex Cultural Community Center, aimed at enhancing citizens' access to information, culture, and arts and providing convenience in use, was successfully held.

The opening ceremony was attended by about 200 people, including Park Hyeong-deok, Mayor of Dongducheon, Oh Hu-seok, Deputy Governor of Gyeonggi Province for Administration 2, Kim Seung-ho, Chairman of Dongducheon City Council, city and provincial council members, and citizens, celebrating the opening of the Complex Cultural Community Center.
The Complex Cultural Community Center is designed to accommodate various age groups and interests, fulfilling the cultural needs of the local community and equipped with diverse facilities that will serve as a place for communication and harmony.
The first floor of the building houses the Youth Startup Support Center, the second floor the Living Culture Center, the third floor the Youth Culture House, Youth Counseling and Welfare Center, and Out-of-School Youth Support Center; from the fourth to the sixth floors is the Orbit Library, and the seventh floor operates the Media Center.
Mayor Park Hyeong-deok of Dongducheon stated, “We expect the Complex Cultural Community Center to establish itself as a cultural space and creative hub shared across generations and to contribute to the revitalization of the original downtown area,” adding, “We will continue to strive to make Dongducheon a city recognized as a great place to live.”
