Developing and Operating Employment-Linked Programs Such as Field Training and Internship Programs
The Dong-A University University Job Plus Center (Director Shin Yong-taek, Student and Employment Support Office Director) held a business agreement ceremony for the ‘Local Talent Development and Mutual Support System Establishment’ with the Dongseo University University Job Plus Center (Director Jeong Do-woon, Student and Employment Support Office Director) and Joil Industry (CEO Park Soon-jung).
The ceremony, held on the 19th at Joil Industry headquarters, was attended by Shin Yong-taek, Director of Dong-A University University Job Plus Center, Jeong Do-woon, Director of Dongseo University University Job Plus Center, and Kim Ki-hoon, Executive Director of Sales General Team at Joil Industry, among others.
Joil Industry is a specialized artificial leather manufacturing company located in Noksan Industrial Complex, Gangseo-gu, Busan, and is an excellent company in the Busan area, ranking 1st or 2nd in the world in terms of supply volume in the artificial leather field. It has overseas manufacturing subsidiaries not only in Korea but also in Vietnam and Indonesia.
Through this agreement, the three institutions plan to cooperate in jointly developing a pre-employment field training (internship) program for practical talent development in the Busan area, conducting joint policy research and information sharing, and establishing a mutual support system for talent development.
Shin Yong-taek, Director of Dong-A University University Job Plus Center, said, “This agreement will not only provide various opportunities such as internships for our students but also serve as a starting point for establishing a practical talent development and recruitment system with excellent companies in the Busan area in the future.”
The Dong-A University University Job Plus Center will continue to expand the mutual cooperation system with excellent companies in the Busan area in collaboration with Dongseo University, a glocal university alliance, and strive to nurture practical talents who settle in the Busan area.
