Simultaneous Online and Offline, Youth-Customized Communication
The Yangsan Branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor (Branch Chief Kwon Gu-hyeong) held a special lecture on youth employment on the 20th at the Hero Studio of Inje University.
This special lecture was organized to have current employees of leading local companies directly provide practical advice on job roles and career development to young people, alleviate their career concerns, and motivate them to pursue their dreams.
The lecture was also broadcast live online, allowing any young person interested to participate and hear firsthand information from current professionals regardless of their location.
The employment special lecture was divided into two parts. In the first part, mentor Jeong Jong-hoon, who works at Nexen Co., Ltd. in Andong, Gimhae City, gave a lecture titled "Towards a Better Tomorrow," and in the second part, mentor Shin Chang-sik from Binggrae Co., Ltd. Gimhae Factory cheered on the youth for their employment success.
This special lecture was conducted as part of the ESG activities of representative companies within the Yangsan Branch. Local companies engage in various community volunteer activities, and starting with this event, the Yangsan Branch plans to continuously work with local companies to expand youth employment, facilitate communication with professionals from desired companies and various job roles, provide mock interviews, industrial site visits, and work experience opportunities to support youth employment.
Branch Chief Kwon Gu-hyeong, who attended the lecture in person, emphasized, "Companies based in the region must take on the role of social leaders for local youth," and added, "We will continue to support young people's dreams through more diverse youth support projects."
