Professor Ryu Dong-woo of Daejin University Department of Architectural Engineering Receives Merit Award from Korean Society of Construction Engineering

Professor Ryu Dong-woo of the Department of Architectural Engineering at the College of Engineering, Daejin University, received a Merit Award at the 2024 Fall Academic Conference hosted by the Korea Institute of Building Construction on the 15th. This award recognizes his many years of contributions to the development of the institute and the advancement of architectural technology.

Professor Ryu Dong-woo of the Department of Architectural Engineering at Daejin University stated, "This Merit Award is the result of the continuous efforts of all members of the institute to advance architectural technology," and expressed his commitment to doing his best for the development of the Korea Institute of Building Construction.

The Department of Architectural Engineering at Daejin University was established in 1992 and cultivates future-oriented architectural talents who combine creativity and autonomy based on sound character. To this end, it implements a customized integrated curriculum that combines research and practice so that students can acquire independent theories and knowledge in all fields of architectural engineering. Additionally, based on an understanding of the Fourth Industrial Revolution era, it has established a convergence major that responds to IT-based practical work, leading the advancement of architectural engineering.
