On the 20th, Hong Nampyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam, attended a breakfast seminar hosted by the Gyeongnam Employers Federation, where he shared the year's achievements with business leaders and listened to economic forecasts and cooperation plans for the coming year, fostering a time of communication.
Before the lecture, Mayor Hong said in his greeting, "According to data from the Korea International Trade Association, Changwon City's trade surplus ranks fifth after Asan in Chungnam, Ulsan, Cheongju in Chungbuk, and Gumi in Gyeongbuk. This is thanks to all of you working hard in various fields." He added, "The city is striving to install a neutron composite beam facility so that Changwon's defense industry and nuclear power can expand globally, and we will also proceed steadily with the development of the second national industrial complex."
On that day, the lecture was delivered by Son Woonghee, President of the Korea Institute for Robot Industry Advancement, under the theme "Next-generation Growth Engine: The Present and Future of Robot Technology."
