Hanam-si Holds Senior Employment Project Performance Report Meeting

Hanam City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Hyun-jae) announced on the 20th that it held the '2024 Senior Job Performance Report Meeting' on the 19th at the annex 2nd floor auditorium, attended by over 300 people including key guests and participants in Hanam City's senior job and social activity support projects.

This performance report meeting was organized to encourage the efforts of the seniors who participated in the senior job projects throughout the year and to explore the development direction of the Hanam Senior Job Project Council, the executing organization.

The Hanam Senior Job Project Council is an organization established to more efficiently activate senior job projects and social activity support projects.

The council consists of the Hanam Senior Club, the dedicated agency for senior jobs, and four executing organizations: the Korea Senior Citizens Association Hanam Branch, Hanam Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, Hanam Misa Riverside Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, and Hanam Gam-il Comprehensive Social Welfare Center.

The performance report meeting proceeded in the order of ▲ watching promotional and executing organization introduction videos for senior jobs ▲ presentation of good practice cases by executing organizations ▲ awarding commendations to 30 participating seniors who contributed to the activation of the senior job projects.

Mayor Lee Hyun-jae emphasized, “I hope that the senior job and social activity support projects will continue to be activated, taking this first-ever senior job project performance report meeting held in Hanam City as an opportunity,” and added, “Hanam City will do its best to expand social participation opportunities and provide quality jobs so that seniors can lead healthy and stable lives.”
